Male, 45 years old, presents to a liver clinic because he was found to have positive HBsAg during blood donation. Additional tests showed: anti-HBc positive, IgM anti-HBc negative, HBeAg negative, anti-HBe positive, ALT 32 IU/L, AST 20 IU/L, normal ultrasonography and liver stiffness of 7.4 kPa.
